Isolated to you, unreadable by us.
Two facts cover most of what you want to know. First, what you put into Laedis is held apart, isolated to you — no other user can reach it, and the people who operate Laedis can't read it. Second, it is never sold or shared. Everything below is a plainer statement of those two.
Your conversations and what Laedis learns from them are kept sealed to you. There is no shared store — no other user can reach your record.
Laedis is hosted, so to think it passes your conversation to the model that does the reasoning. That's the one place your words move — and even there they stay isolated to you and unreadable by the operator. We name that plainly rather than imply nothing ever moves at all.
Not sold, not handed to anyone else.
What you share isn't sold and isn't handed to anyone else.
Your card goes to Stripe, not to us.
Your subscription is billed through Stripe. Card details go from your browser to Stripe directly, so Laedis never receives or stores your card number or any card data. On our side we hold only account and subscription-status metadata (your email, the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and whether the subscription is active, past due, or cancelled) — used to run your account and the paywall.
Erase it all — whenever you want.
- Erase all of it, permanently, in one click — real deletion, not a hidden flag.
DRAFT — pending legal review · not legal advice. This is an honest, structured draft, not final or binding legal text; it must be reviewed and finalized by a licensed attorney before launch. Laedis is a hosted service; the processor terms that calls for — sub-processor list (including Stripe for payment), data location, data-processing agreement — are to be set with counsel, not asserted here. See also Privacy and Terms. Effective date: to be set at launch.
